The Luminary Loppet

Had another great weekend. I received my electronics learning parts and started right away reading the book. On Saturday I went to the hardware store and bought a multimeter and played around with the projects. I am excited to move forward with learning this. The only thing is that I am sad I didn’t start it earlier. Jojo won her race on Saturday night. After that her and I went skiing on Lake of the Isles, for the Luminary Loppet, where the lake was lit up with thousands of ice blocks with candles in them. There were ice sculptures, fire eaters, lit, hot-air balloons that we could see from across the lake. So many people were out that it truly was a community event. It was snowing which helped make it a beautiful winter event. We went to Rye to celebrate. Jesse came along. On Sunday I spent more time doing electronics and playing guitar and then went to see Jojo finish 6th on the marathon race. She did really good. Jesse and I went to Northern Grade at the James J. Hill Library in St. Paul. Jojo and I went to Miriam and Terry’s to celebrate Miriam’s birthday with fondue.

I have told Capella that I will not continue on after my contract. They wanted to promote me I always wonder if these are good decisions and what I will do afterwards. I can only hope everything will work out with my career.
