Twenty Below on the Gunflint

I celebrated the New Years at Bear Skin Lodge on the Gun Flint Trail skiing over the past few days. Jesse picked me up last Wednesday and drove me to St. Paul to meet up with Jojo, where we spent the night at her parents. We drove up to Duluth with Jesse and had a beer at Fitger and then met Kari at her home. We drove up with Kari and Jesse and it was a beautiful drive. It was very cold, -20 degrees Fahrenheit sometimes, but it was still such a perfect winter landscape. I even saw a red-tailed fox on one of my skis. Jesse was ill and spent the time inside. We had some good meals with friends.
