Fireflies at Gale Woods

I got back from Minneapolis with the U-Haul truck today. Jojo and I packed it up yesterday. I left for Algoma about 10 and Jojo left for Omaha to attend her assistanceship at Frogmans. We’ve been in Minneapolis for the past week because Jojo got to stand up in Audrey’s wedding. We left on Wednesday the 22nd in the afternoon and didn’t arrive to her parents until about 11. Jojo had breakfast with Kari on Thursday and I went to Peace coffee to work. She had her nails done for the wedding. That was the first time she’s ever done that. On Friday we went to the Soap Factory and there was also the rehearsal dinner at Cafe Racer. Saturday was the wedding and I drove out to Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista. It was a pretty drive going through the Minnetonka lake area. Jojo and I attended another wedding a few years ago at the same place for Josh and Stina. Audrey and Brad’s wedding was very nice and the reception was also nice. Before we were going to leave I found a patch outside the barn with thousands of fireflies twinkling and enjoyed that. On Sunday was a breakfast for the wedding guests. That night we went to the Tiny Diner with Kaitlin, Clara and Megan. Monday, I met with Drew Peterson and had coffee at the Finnish Bistro. Jojo and I had dinner at Hi Low Diner. Tuesday I went to happy hour with Patterson Folks, Erik, Lorna and Mike.
