The Sea Grant Mural

Don Krumpos · Diary

Over the past few months I’ve been trying to get the last of our murals done. On October 13 we hung the Sea Grant mural in Sturgeon Bay. There was a ceremony for it on October 15th. Erin and I went to Minneapolis on October 22. We went to the Walker Art Center. I got to drive around a lot of the places I hung out while I was there, which was mostly Uptown. We went to the MIA and saw the Full Moon Theatre at Open Eye. It was a great time. On October 18, we carved pumpkins with Wes. November 4th was the opening reception for the Mid Term art show. I finished painting the sign for our daycare, Wings of Eagles. I started working on the mural design for this summer in Sturgeon Bay. We went to Wei’s house for Thanksgiving on November 24th. I started to work more on the Yonder storefront sign in December We spent a few days in Power, Michigan with Erin’s parents for Christmas. Arthur loves spending time with his Grandma and Grandpa. He really enjoyed Christmas this year and playing with his cousins, especially Gavin. We watched a lot of movies, including Uncle Buck; put together some puzzles and ate a lot. Mike built a tubing hill in the back yard and we also had a campfire one night. On New Years Eve, Erin and I actually stayed up until 1:30 and had a good time talking.

Arthur keeps getting cuter than ever. He is sure a sweet boy that loves to play with his toys. He likes berries and bananas and peanut butter and macaroni and cheese to eat. He likes to watch Thomas the Tank Engine and Cocomelon on the telly. I get to bring him to school every day and pick him up and it is a joy to get to spend time with him. He likes me to play with him. He got a lot of new toys for Christmas and especially likes to play with his Duplo train set.
